With or without a hat underneath the Explorer Hat is made to keep you warm, the back of the hat has an adjustment piece of velco to tighten it up for wearing alone or loosen it up to wear a base layer hat on those extremely cold days.  The Velcro earflaps can be worn tucked under the chin or reversed and fastened above the head for warmer days.  Made with Ultrex, a breathable wind and water resistant material and lined with a new thicker pile this brimmed hat will keep your ears warm and your head dry during the wildest snowstorm. If you want the six panels on the top of the cap to alternate, you may choose an alternate cap panel color different from the brim color.
