Which Coat is Right for You?

Parka: Has a full-zipper which makes it easy to take on an off, and to regulate your heat. Comes with an outside chest pocket, and two outside hip pockets. Has a curved hem that dips lower in the back.

vs.

AnorakHas a half-zipper which means you put it on and take it off over your head. But this also means it’s warmer than the Parka, because the shorter zipper means more continuous insulation on the front belly. Harder to regulate your heat though because the zipper only comes down half way. Has a large anorak pocket on the outside, with fleece lined side access for your hands, and a separate top access zippered pocket for other items. Also includes an outside chest pocket. Straight Hem all of the way around.

Expedition Series:

Our warmest, most technical series. These pieces have three layers of insulation, rating them to -60ºF (roughly). They are our longest design, reaching to mid thigh on most wearers, and are great for spending all day in extreme temps.

Alpine Series:

These pieces have two layers of insulation, rating them to -40ºF (depending on personal preference). Hip Pockets are zippered, and fleece lined.

Alpine Lite Series:

These pieces have a single layer of insulation, rating them to -20ºF (depending on personal preference – this estimate is for standing still with little radiant body heat). Hip Pockets are fleece lined, but not zippered. These pieces are less bulky and easier to layer underneath.
